The main idea for the song was conceived in 2004 during a phone conversation with my friend, Scott Sosbee. We were talking about the state of the world - soldiers, being @ war and life in general….

We talked about all us of being brothers whether we are defending a country, being in a band, brothers in a family, or brothers through friendship or hardships.

The song starts out with a military reference of how these bonds are made when men…strangers, come together as Brothers with a common cause to defend our America. These men all throughout their lives will remember those names and faces. That fought, lived and/or died fighting with them side by side. Forever Brothers In Arms.

The personal tie in that I used is - all my “brothers” past and present who’ve I’ve not only shared the stage with, but also shared personal struggles and triumphs - traveling miles and miles together chasing common goals.

Still today, years later, I can close my eyes and see those faces of every musician I’ve shared the spotlight with. I have not and will not forget the contributions they’ve made helping to keep me going forward with conviction, passion, and the love of what I do -

and believing that I can still make a difference in peoples lives thru a song..
